Waking up to the sound of birdsong. Making coffee without rushing. Starting the day exactly the way you want to. That is what makes our accommodation in Hantum so special. Since July 2021 we have lived here, and from the very first moment we felt at home in this quiet, green Frisian village. That feeling is what we want to pass on to everyone who stays with us. Care, a listening ear and genuine helpfulness, those are the qualities we bring as hosts. Not as a service, but as a matter of course.
Sinne
Sinne, Frisian for sun. A loft with its own character, cosy and warm, for two or three people who simply want to switch off completely. In the heart of the Frisian village of Hantum, a stone’s throw from Dokkum and the ferry to Ameland, this lovely place awaits. The wood stove makes the evenings complete, the sofa bed offers space for those who come along. Here you will find the peace and space.
Moanne
Moanne, Frisian for moon. A holiday accommodation with a loft feeling, for two people who simply want to come back to themselves. High, open, warm, with a wood stove that makes the evenings complete and a kingsize boxspring already waiting for you on the mezzanine. Or enjoy the hottub under the starry sky. Moanne is the place where you arrive and immediately feel: here I can let everything go.
Breakfast
There is something wonderful about a morning without rush. For €17.50 per person we deliver a local breakfast basket to your loft at the time that suits you, so you can start the day in complete peace.
What is in the basket?
A crispy croissant, a fresh bread roll and an egg, creamy farm yoghurt with fresh fruit and homemade granola, freshly squeezed orange juice, cheese and cold cuts and our own jam. Lovingly put together from local products, from the baker, the farmer and our own kitchen.

Friendly host & hostess. Beautiful accommodation in a quiet area. The B&B is attractively and tastefully decorated. Nice beds and bedding. Modern bathroom. Delicious breakfast. The hot tub is definitely recommended!

On arrival the wood stove had already been set up and we were warmly welcomed by Marian and Joan. The B&B is very attractive and fully furnished, the beds are comfortable and the breakfast the next morning was delicious.

What a great stay. Clean, new and wonderfully quiet, everything on it and on it. Close to lots to do. Everything can be reached in about half an hour’s drive. Rent a boat or bicycle. We have been there for 14 days and have not been bored for a day.
